Support Statement

Written by Project Director Keith McKenzie

Mental health can occur to anyone and anywhere. However, when hidden differences have experienced mental health it can be ignored or underestimated.

Because of this when anxiety also occurs (including social anxiety), it can be wrongly reacted negatively against their identity and correct and narrative of a characteristic matter.

Everyone needs to spend less time making quick conclusions and instead have an open mind and become supportive and display empathy when required. This means everyone needs to change their attitudes and acceptance when a person including those with hidden differences experiences mental health or anxiety.
