Fast moving world many expectations change when it comes to different skills abilities and expected qualities in work it, employment, relationships and in the local communities. What Society doesn't always knows the positive skills and qualities which individuals with hidden differences which can be beneficial for everyone.

  • Introduction

    A lot of people may not know that an independent person with differences has many positive qualities and attributes. This means the strengths can be unnoticed or ignored. This is due to demands and expectations of soft skills, perceptions and efficiency on skills & abilities.


    However, this can be reversed if we modify expectations and focus on positive possibilities, patience and how a person with differences can be a potential asset that an average person does not automatically have.


    If a person with differences is using their strengths of qualities & skills (in work, business, communities and relationships) they are highly likely to be more efficient than skills in which they do not have many strengths. This is regardless of any retraining or education.


    Breaking the boundaries

    Not to let any existing rules, criteria, regulations and procedures get in the way of a person with differences to work on their strengths 


    This includes:

    * Do Not let Criteria harm any opportunities

    * Not to let procedures get in any way of prospects

    * The balance between expected standards and positive qualities which compensate for any expectation with additional personal development to bridge any gap.

  • Factors to take note

    * Be more aware of what is likely for a person with differences to maintain positive qualities regardless of any changing situations & climate

    * The importance of a person with differences having their own adjustments & personal development space

    * Modify expectations & demands for anyone with contact with a person with differences.

    * It is important to not let anyone's, personalities, personal ethics, standards and morals get in the way of any relationship and contact. 

    * Pay greater attention to how a person with differences attempted to be self-aware and take steps to be considerate and to make adjustments. Show them your support and respect based on their intentions.

    * Educating the human aspects of differences and the issues which affect their lives at ground level. This does mean monitoring any progress regularly. 

    * To maintain their stability it is essential to respect a person with  hidden differences sense of value must be respected, supported and in some cases encouraged.

    Motivation & mindset

    A dyspraxic has high passions with strong motivation and determined it succeed took it particular activities or actions to complete. Also, they are self-driven strategic and excel in problem & solution solving. 


    Sometimes an ADHD person can excel better with certain tasks without any concentration breaks


    An autistic person can learn and excel in subjects, topics or particular skills & abilities especially when they are resourced and have space for personal development without unrealistic pressures. Some people with autism concerns less about what others think too much about them and be more independent in how they think


    A dyslexic person can see situations or issues with a bigger picture and have the ability to see life through other perspectives of the environment & the other person


    Socialising & interaction

    An ADHD person can thrive at many social gatherings. This including being open and having the ability to be spontaneous


    Some people with autism may communicate very direct than the average person. Can be non-judgemental when listening to others if the communication they received is not excessive or too toxic.


    Participation

    An autistic person tends to have an independent identity with unique experiences which bring additional angles or particular issues or topics which nobody have imagined or think about. This is beneficial with community groups, public forums, consultations also with strategic and major planning.


    Learning

    An ADHD person can able to try out new things.


    The autistic person learning & ability speeds varies from person to person based on their difficulties and strengths. 


    Individuals with both autism & dyslexic learn & think visually. However, visual think & learning is not the same between both conditions. 


    A dyslexic person can think smarter visually smartly than words and enhance picture recognition. Also, they have a sharp peripheral vision which can take the scene and situation much quicker. 


    An autistic person the to learn and to think visually such as location, items, pictures, videos & past experiences. Despite their difficulties, their intelligence levels can be at average and above the standard expectation. When resourced and with preparation in advance they can be very focused while undertaking particular tasks or specific situations and occasions.


    Other Specific abilities

    A dyspraxic person has unique abilities which enable them to be highly creative and imaginative


    An ADHD person can be innovative and can excel well in creativity with having strong levels of imagination.

    Depending on transferable skills & knowledge, an autistic person has a strong amount of knowledge & have passions for subjects or topics beneficial to fields such as History, Art, Design & Politics. However not to confuse the passions with any form of obsessions.


    A dyslexic person can excel in the visual process including distinguishing and with more complicated mathematical tasks including calculations calculating a complex formula. In the field of architecture and design, a dyslexic person can excel to work out three-dimensional objects smarter with spatial knowledge. 


    An autistic person can be very loyal and honest but will not tolerate be exploited or be taken advantage of. Also if they are very self-aware they don’t live to break rules or to lie with others and depending on trust with others do not have any hidden agendas or strategies.


    An individual with Social Anxiety also has many strengths in abilities and qualities. Many people with social anxiety are also passionate. However, the strengths and passions of a person with social anxiety can vary differently with each person.

* Pay less attention to perceptions and focus more on the positive attributes
* Respect their sense of value
* See the human inside & not to react on how they perceived
* Never use any gaps in skills & qualities to mistreat or to cause any sense of pressure or shame.
* Pay attention to their intentions of being self-aware, adjustable, good intentions and to be considerate.
* Prepare in advance for a change, alteration or major situation and talk about potential issues, scenarios, possibilities and the importance of supporting & encouraging time outs and development space.
Despite a person with differences having many strengths patience and support are essential
