A dyslexic person have many positive strengths & qualities despite the difficulties they live with.


Looking beyond any difficulties a dyslexia person have can be there can be a positive advantage for all.


The Bigger Picture

They can see situations or issues with a bigger picture. 


Visual Processing & spatial knowledge

They can excel in the visual process including distinguishing and with more complicated mathematical tasks including calculations calculating complex formulas. In the field of Architecture and design a dyslexic person can excel to work out three-dimensional objects smarter with spatial knowledge.

Visual Thinkers

They can think smarter visually smartly than words and enhance picture recognition. 


Setting the scene

They have sharp peripheral vision which can take the scene and situation much quicker. 


Summary

The strengths of a Dyslexic person is varying from person to person.
Takes time out to really understand their strengths and how they can be beneficial for everyone.
Never use their difficulties as an excuse to undermine their strengths

Many Dyslexic people are ambitious and use their strengths and attributes can able to be beneficial in communities, relationships in environments for Employment, Volunteering and in education

To enable a Dyslexic person to be beneficial in society, it is very important to improve representation and not misinterpret

Changing attitudes
Seeing beyond perceptions

Beyond their ambitions, a dyslexic person also has a strong sense of purpose to make a positive difference to others and society.

Through their experiences and insight, a dyslexic person can provide forward-thinking ideas and solutions.

However, this can be only possible if everyone considers the following factors:
Patience,
Welcoming,
Accommodating,
Having an open mind,
Less perceptive and presumptions,
Not to discriminate and respect their sense of value.

To make sure a dyslexic person continues to be a positive benefit to others and society as a whole then we must value a person with differences.


Several factors must be practised including:

Appreciation


Avoid being perceptive


Not to make shaming or make disrespectful attitudes (including discrimination and hatred)


Be patient and supportive of a dyslexic person and speak up for them. This means not tolerating disrespectful or prejudiced attitudes. Also not make any unrealistic expectations or pressures.


Take a dyslexic person seriously


Not to make disruptive attitudes such as jealousy, resentment, trivial or cynical.
