Value is (Autism Edition)
A special verson of a featured project which explore the importance of focusing on the human elements rather than medical
It features different elements which emphasise the importance of maintaining and reminding a positive sense of value for Autism
As part of supporting the awareness events for autism in April & in June, Plus Value Awareness presents of empowering awareness project which reminds and promoting positive examples of a good sense of value towards a person with differences.
Value is is a campaign made up of different elements including pride, representation and many more.
Autism related elements
Below are a number of elements relating to a person and supporting a person with differences in the prevent and to reduce or prevent any level of stress.
Inclusion
We must not use ignorance and stigma to exclude autistic invisible. Especially those who have good & positive intentions who are self-aware, articulate and are good intentions to be considerate.
Equality
Moving away from labels and stigma to value an autistic person as an equal member of society.
Pride
The importance of not just an autistic person to cause them any shame.
Ambitions
Many people with autism have many strengths & positive attributes and we must not undervalue any positive ambitions they have.
Sharing good practice
To reduce any stigma role models with autism have a responsibility to share with other positive examples to move forward in life.
Natural & authentic
The importance of making sure to understand and support a person with differences to manage life at their pace without being compromised.
Dignity
The important tool for a person with differences to maintain their stability.
Expressions
The essential component to reducing stress for a person with differences to have their express, viewpoints feeling & insight without undervalued or judgement.
Not tight boxed
The essential to not generalise & to see an autistic person beyond perceptions
Sense of purpose
The importance of everyone to support and encourage an autistic person's sense of purpose.
