The recovery to sustainability is made of two elements to make sure anything that has happened badly in the past does not get repeated.
Rebuild mindset & well-being
Many things can be achieved to gradually bring life back to a more sustainable & relaxed.
* Relaxing & time out from a normal activity
* Relaxing and calming techniques
* Have outdoor walks
* Have a time off away for specific places of interest for the day
* Get in touch with supportive friends or supportive family members they can get in touch offering to meet with them.
* If there are no supportive contacts available, then getting in touch with support helplines can be helpful especially when emotional or low feelings. Use the search engine to search "listening helplines" or "counselling" for a relevant service near you.
Maintaining a good sense of Value and Strategic way forward
The recovery can only happen when a person with differences sense of value is respected as well as dealing with issues & problems with solution steps. Any changes a person with differences decided to do resolve the causes of a particular problem made must be respected and supported.
The issues could be about being on the receiving end of bullying, emotional abuse or hate crimes.
Other examples to consider including
* Have someone to talk to non-judgement for listening support and they can share guidance & suggestions.
* Encourage to develop their personal development system which involves using a note pad or using digital note-taking apps (for tablets & mobiles). This could be used to evaluate specific experiences or issues. Also, this can be used for solution solving ideas and action lists to move forward.
* Show that they are appreciated and valued.
