This section of the project lists examples and types of toxic attitudes and hatred which can occur towards hidden differences or all disabilities.
Click on the title bar below to explore the different levels.
The examples include:
Making very quick misguided pranks. This can cause rapid physiological scars and shame as this kind kinds of mistreatment makes it very difficult for a victim to report to others as they would be believed. (This is usually related to false or defined prejudice labels by strangers or who have seen the victim previously by perceptions and cause innuendo gossiping)
The prejudiced person damages a victim's personal items behind their back such as clothing, folders and other items.
The offender goes through a voctim's processions and snooping through confidential materials without permission or authorisation.
This is related to examples towards people who have shared their disability or difficulties and attempted to share their experiences
The prejudiced person would spread demeaning comments based on typecasing and would make constant hatred threats
Discolosing a person's difficulties to other can lead to an easy target of hatred and disrespectful comments through trolls & other prejudiced people and disrupting their profile
HACKING & PHINISHING
A prejudice against hidden differences can lead to profile who have disclosed become a target being hacked and phished. Also spreading damaging comments to cause harm to their online presence.
TARGETING TOXIC AND HATRED COMMENTS
Some profiles can recive constant toxic comments or extremely offensive posts. This incluldes comments of hurtful images and memes. Hidden differences from a diverse background can face additional layers of offenstive and hatred comments towards, women, men & women from multicultural backgrounds and LBGT individuals
PROMOTING STIGMA
Some prejudice individuals can cause shame on a victim by spreading lies and false labels lead to receiving escalating hated threats.
EXTREME HATRED
Sadly some people make extreme hatred comments with lanaguge of intentions to cause phyical harm. Also comments are made in spreading lies to others to cause threats & intimidation to the victim.
A person pretending to be a friend and appears very accommodating and friendly then make dishonest rejection (meeting new people, potential contacts for opportunities)
Causing heckling abuse or shouting discriminative abuse and hatred threats while looking away. So if the victim is seen as emotionally upset they can be wrongly judged as mentally out of control. This makes it impossible to recognise the offender and makes it impossible for the victims to report to the police and other officials.
Prejudice and hatred can be fueled by distorted knowledge and perceptions from consuming news stories and entertainment they enjoy. This can also lead to hatred attitudes from digested, biased and extreme content.
Expressions and experiences from hidden differences can be automatically rejected based on first impressions, perceptions and stereotypes.
Some people refuse to see a person beyond their difficulties with automatic judgment as a burden to others and society.
A person's difficulties can be used to make inaccurate allegations against their identity
Some people who have minds with conventional mindsets can disrespect a person's difficulties as a negative identity if a person displays any of their difficulties to others. They can be wrongly judged as a burden to others and accused of lacking the right qualities and standards. Also making negative judgements as creepy, attention seeking
Intimidating hidden differences when accessing facilities they are entitled to. This also applies to any assiatnce such as consessary travel, accesing disability funding or benefits.
The perceptive person can stare continously at a person with differences who appears different in their abilities. Not only that some people with intrusive staring on detail in where & what a person with differences are looking. Also a person can be stared on how long look at a particlar item or location and can be discrimintoary remarks based on their perceptions.
Some people with hidden differences can be automatically rejected and excluded at social envionments due to perceptions and typecasts
Regardless of experences a person can be disbelived on the difficulties they live with then attack their identity when they are compromised
Impatient and demanding people can react to a person with differences but making provocative exploitation in converstaions by testing a person's difficulties ability and weakness. This can lead to a person with differences face destructive criticism based on disapproval without context
Not accepting a person beyond stereotypes then make controlling, exploitative and abusive measures if the victim if they appear outside how they are defined. For examples if a person appears slightly slower can be threatened if they comunicate very articulate.
Intolerant attitudes and threatening pressures if a person is struggling to accessing digital service machines, retail and customer service facilities. This also occurs when queuing behind a person facing one-to-one interaction with service staff and officials
A person can use their impatience against hidden differences ability speeds by deliberately overtaking their queing location of they appear too slow. This is also used for blocking and shoving a person with differences in escalators
The offender can provoke a person with differences upset to cause trouble to satisfy how they define how they perceive the victim negatively. This involves controlling & exploitation to disrupt a person's coping mechanisms, then escalate by spending lies to discredit the person with differences
A prejudiced person who pretends to appreciate a person with differences then creates and exploitative confrontation situation to not only cause the person to struggle or to become upset, then use this to spread shame against them.
At Work, education and volunteering, a jealous and prejudiced person deliberately provokes disruptions to a person's concentration or workload.
Using disapproval to make controlling intolerance to silence a person in groups, gatherings and inclusive environments. Also, overtaking a person with differences and blocking their ability to have their say on any disapproval, they interact (including when standing up for themselves)
A person can have their walk path delebrately distruped by a prejudiced person itimidate and collide too close which distrupt their ability to walk. This can happen at at all public spaces, places of leisure and on transport.
Some can using their prejudice by spreading prejudiced labels to cause general shaming labels based on perceptions. Not only the persistant labels & spreading shame but also would mock, heckle and ridicule. This can lead to delebrate creating a mistaken idenity. For examples lies can be spread accused to appear homosexual when they are not. This can cause widespread embarrassment and shame.
Some people delebrately humiliate & to shame a person with differneces by aggressively laughing loud and the victim or screaming at them.
Sadly some voices with differences are automatically rejected with implications of deluded and exaggeration and lacking context
There are a lot of disapproval attitudes against a person with hidden differences place in society. Sadly some people use their prejudice as an excuse for physical abuse and assault including pushing into, knocking a person and shoving.
Disrupting a person with hidden differences walking path by by making physical intimidation in front of or side of a person with differences.
Some would take advantage by attempting to steal the personal items of a person with hidden differences.
Some trying to single out and disrupt a person with differences by touching and knocking their bodies inappropriately is a way of drawing attention to how unaccepted they are.
Some can cause problems and use trivialising excuses by making practical pranks towards a person with hidden differences. Including making a person jump randomly and shout too close to the victim's ear.
Mentally abusive pranks
If a person with hidden differences has exercised their dignity or standing up for themselves can be provoked trouble against them by spreading lies against them to someone else leading to a person with differences facing unexpected intimidation and aggressive confrontation. If this causes a person with differences and emotional upset and distress offender would spread lies with implies the Victim was deliberately out of control. This can mean a person with differences can be in trouble (at community, work and volunteering) for something they have not caused.
Using perceptions against a person's difficulties to discredit them as an undesirable person. Then use this to rudely reject them as a nuisance
A prejudice who has caused abuse previously or in the past could retaliate as retaliation (especially if an intervention was made such as security thrown out the offender previously)
Some people who have defined a person with hidden differences negatively could make revenge threats when a person is standing up for themselves against harassment or unsavoury attitudes
Some of the prejudice can be more damaging with some people facing
aggressive shaming labels & hatred threats including controlling intimidation and confrontational threats
Some victims have faced mate hate abuse with some incidents have led to physical assault and harming the person's safety. Unfortunately, some incidents have led to murder due to similar prejudice cases that have been unrecognised or rejected until it's too late.
The offenders can use their disapproval of hidden differences place in society by deliberately making physical assaults and attacks. Also, some have deliberately stealing possession of a person with hidden differences with physical abuse.
Some use hatred by deliberately causing serious physical harm towards hidden differences. Sadly some situations have led to murder simply because similar incidents are not taken seriously until it's too late.
