An insight on Changing perceptions
Support statement from Keith Mckenzie, Project Director
During my observations of many voices there was one dyspraxic person's voice on social media stood out. With many awareness expressions and campaigns on neurodiversity, the person has express their frustations and felt that they are ignored along with other Dyspraxic people as a whole. This is regardless of the progress with neurodiversity.
So a reminder that everyone has a responsibility to equally value a Dyspaxic person and not ignore their experiences and insight.
We must looking at the positive aspects are the essential components for a Dyspraxic person to have a secure and sustainable future.

Feature Information
This webpage is usually developed to support Dyspraxia Awareness Week.
However, due to other commitments, the project director was not available to develop this online special in time for Dyspraxia Awareness Week in early October. So instead of a month-long "Dyspraxia Showcase Special" was created and linked with the online feature "Dyspraxia Focus" & "Events+".
Dyspraxia Awareness Week
The annual event is to enable a greater understanding of several charities & organisations around the UK & Worldwide. Historically this awareness event in the UK was led by the organisation formally known as Dyspraxia Foundation. Sadly the organisation was closed down in April 2024. This event appeared twice in 2024 during July and October.
