A special feature celebrating 5 years of Plus Value Awareness and 20 years of Differences & Autism Challenge
Written by Keith McKenzie, creator of Plus Value Awareness featuring Differences Autism Challenge.

As part of the double anniversary year of Plus Value Awareness & Differences Autism Challenge, a special insight has been me as a man with a different take on International Women's Day, specifically with the female important inspirations which enable to achieve 20 years of providing awareness projects in communities & online.

The encouragement
Since I started to provide awareness projects, campaigns & activity the encouragement, guidance and directions forward my the personal contacts from women more than men.

Examples of progress
Due to the support of women, several developments have been made. Some of the examples include Asperger Syndrome Survey in 2002 the team of key female members supported and assist developed the survey & the findings. Then many years later the encouragement leads to presenting findings with a presentation in from around 200 people with delegates from around the world. In 2016 a female chef executive was inspired with the very first awareness art project she wanted to improve the recognition by feature one of my designs onto the cover design of the charity's annual report. The same Chief Executive wanted me to develop Christmas cards for the charity for three years.

Another encouragement has to lead to an awareness exhibition 5 years after started awareness, to take part in various exhibition display on my awareness projects, took part in various presentations as conferences & seminars. Also developing one of the awareness campaigns onto a decorated mug to promote works autism awareness day, to develop the awareness concept into possibilities for potentially social enterprise. One unique person, I met in 2019 when I attended a presentation from an inspiring mother with her perseverance to making sure the Health Care in England improves training & understanding of autism in the hospital. This reminds the importance of how if you feel something needs to change in society we must stand up no matter how hard so impossible.

Not forgetting my female friends & family for their support on social media, online and face to face.

So for International Women's Day, I show my salute to all the women around the weird who trying to make a difference to those living with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Social Anxiety.
