    Never seek approval to make yourself valuable.


    Don't let anyone use your difficulties to make you less valuable.


    Don't make any misunderstanding of your difficulties lets yourself down.


    Regardless of any frustrations that might be on your mind, remind yourself everyday that you're valuable and focus on how unique you are.


    If you become very stressed, anxious or upset, avoid making a quick decision or reacting too quickly. Have time to think to prevent unplanned situations which you might affect how you cope.


    Look after your well-being and find ways to develop relaxation techniques.

     


  • Information for everyone

    Everyone has different limitations of abilities regardless of whether a person lives with hidden differences or not. Bear that in mind and do not pressurise or demand to mentally push a person with hidden differences beyond their limitations as you potentially cause negative to the coping mechanisms, stability, well-being and circumstances.


    Never use a person's difficulties to cause shame or to bring the worst out of them


    Never interfere with or challenge a person with hidden differences dealing with situations differently from an average person and never interfere with their adjustment methods.

    Don't let anyone compromise your stability.


    No matter how you feel, do not put a strain on yourself and prepare for different scenarios that can affect how you manage your daily life


    Always evaluate and micromanage daily tasks and any procedures indoors and outdoors to prevent any stress or anxiety


    Look after your well being, keep active when possible


    Try indoor exercise


    Take time out regularly


    Break from tasks or routines


    Have a balance between developing tasks, essential duties, connecting with others and taking time off everything


    Have a special quiet time I'm to bring back your energy and motivation in your daily life with meditation & yoga for example


    Try out some relaxation techniques you've got nothing to lose


    Never overstretch yourself on what you planned every day



  • Information for Friends, family & contacts of hidden differences

    You may be stressed on occasions not to underestimate the challenges a person with differences are facing. Especially if their difficulties can cause occasional negative side effects which other people take for granted  


    There are occasions when a person with differences may struggle to cope or go through a difficult time. As their difficulties are not a measurement of mental toughness you should never blame them for their difficulties or to dismiss them. Also never react with demanding reactions such as stragise as you may be seen as unhelpful and unsupportive. Instead, show empathy and sympathy. It is OK to admit you do not have any suggestions however, you can respond such as not giving up and offer listening to them and being non-judgmental. Sometimes talking and helping can some people with hidden differences recover from a negative and bad situation.

  • Information for everyone

    Be aware that your lack of tolerance and patience levels can affect the well-being of a person with differences, So it is never acceptable to use a person's difficulties to mistreat or to bring the worst out of them.



    A person's difficulties are not a level of laziness so you must never test a person with hidden differences in levels of abilities or their strong coping mechanisms.  This can cause of negative effect on trust.


    Never criticise a person's difficulties when they are struggling or cannot cope with a specific situation and you can cause a harmful effect and make their circumstances worse
