However independent adults with hidden differences can also become lonely by no choice.

  • General Warning signs

    The early warning signs.

    A number of examples as a starting point including if a person with differences struggles with adjusting to a particular environment especially those at a very fast pace. Also the excessive amounts of misjudgement and mistreatments. Including rejection perilous discrimination bullying and hate.


    Judging a person’s differences

    Regardless of the kind of difficulties, a person may live with other people may respond negatively and use this the discredit their character, personality & in some cases their circumstances making them unfairly shameful. This could force a person with differences to limit who they trust or to feel comfortable with.


    Cultural aspects.

    In certain inclusive environments, some people with differences can spend time with other people with similar tastes, interests, standards and abilities. Examples of environments including at work, education or leisure. This makes it harder for a person with differences to be integrated and inclusive. In some cases makes attitudes towards a person with differences is so negative can make them very unwelcome and made to feel they should not be around.


    The obvious signs

    when a person with differences has reduced or completely stop being seen in inclusive environments. Especially if they are not well supported or well understood.


    Lack of appreciation & taken advantage of

    If someone becomes extremely unappreciative a disrespectful after a person with differences after attempted to be considerate towards someone can cause them to be around others less. this also applies if a person with differences have been exploited manipulated and have been taking advantage of.




  • Extreme Warning signs

    Sadly there are prejudiced people who disapprove and gets irritated when they see a person with differences in society. They would then make extremely quick tactics to intended to maximum disruptions person with differences be forced to be removed out of sight.


     This involves being physically pushed, shoved and intimidated for potentially facing physical assault. 


    Inclusive social environment

    Some would disruptive towards a person with differences such as being deliberately having a foot stamped on forcing them to stop dancing and physically push and shove and do spill water all over their shirts suit or dress.


    Other inclusive environments 

    Places like supermarkets department stores on transport and during outdoor events a person with differences would be deliberately blocked and in some cases knocked over. This is the sort of mistreatment that affect their severely coping mechanisms and personal safety this also occurs on roadside footpaths, parks and other public squares. Unless a person with differences has surrounding supported then they would not too comfortable integrating into society. Therefore they can be forced to be isolated for instability and personal safety.





  • Consequences of loneliness

    Being forced to be isolated and therefore lonely is an indication that way to maintain their stability and personal safety. 


    This means they are forced to stay at home more times in a single week than an average person.


    This can cause harmful consequences including general health declining and can face unsustainable mental health problems and anxiety. Also, basic skills along with social interaction and relationship abilities will be restricted and in some cases can fade away. 


    If these factors are not noticed the depressive feelings can occur with a lack of self-worth and potentially suicidal thoughts.

  • Approach & Solutions

    General approach

    The general examples of solutions to reduce loneliness including showing kindness to others, fitness and taking part in activities and social groups. 


    However, if the specific issues & boundaries affect a person's differences, then the general solutions alone would backfire with unstable disruptions and in some cases harmful to a person with differences in stability and coping mechanisms.


    Appropriate solutions

    it is essential that families, friends and anyone with from contact with a person differences at work, education and leisure be aware of the factors which exclude & marginalised a person with differences towards loneliness.



  • Solution Steps

    Here some steps forward to reduce loneliness


    * Never blame a person for the differences they live with it is not their fault all the obstacles they face.


    * Never intervene on the choices that personal differences make to combat loneliness


    * Any person who are prejudice who cause bullying or to provoke phyical disruption or cause any upset should be challenged and be instructed that this sort of behaviour is wrong and unacceptable


    * Encourage others to get to know and spend time with person with differences if they wish to.


    * A person with differences must be fully understood, supported and appreciated at all levels


    * Expressions experiences and insightful person differences must be listened & taken seriously without dismissive judgements.


    * Never respond on a person with differences which accuse them of overreacting delusional or accusing them of lacking perspective as you are disrespecting their intelligence.
