Bullying is not a joking matter it can affect people's health well-being and livelihoods. It can also affect relationships, families and maintaining self-worth. It can affect any age at any location.
Everyone has a responsibility to take bullying seriously especially if it affects hidden differences.
There's no excuse for outdated responses "ignore it" or rise above it". It is equally important not to underestimate the seriousness of bullying experiences. It is for everyone to be supportive and be there as a point of contact when needed.
