Welcome to Events+, the online home on projects and features in supporting different awareness all year round. 

Events+ is presented under the following areas

Showcase blog

Providing articles with focused topics, issues and insight to support the different events. 

Pop-up showcase

This feature will be mainly available during multiple events within a monthly calendar. It will display the different showcase projects, articles and exclusive materials to support each event.

This awareness initiative family has supported awareness events since 2008 during the first world autism awareness Day (before Plus Value Awareness began), it was presented online & on social media, under the former Differences Originals feature "Awareness Series".

In 2012 an expansion of support events to Mental Health & depression. This introduces projects "Don't demonise" and "Avoid the easy response"

In 2014 a specialised extract of the project "Moving Forwards" was presented as a decorated mug display mug during World Autism Awareness Day for the University of Birmingham and Bridge Mentoring.

All of the awareness series content was transferred online when plus value awareness was launched in 2015.

In 2018 the launch of Awareness October with supporting more events on Dyspraxia, Dyslexia and World Mental Health Day.
Also, coincide World Mental Health Day the launch of the project "Don't Underestimate"

In May & June 2019 an online trial pop-up feature was developed to support different events including Neurodiversity Celebration Week, Mental Health Awareness Week, PDA Day, Loneliness Awareness Week and Autistic Pride Day. This leads to the launch of the Diverse Differences Feature with the launch of projects Diverse Achievers, Diverse Advantage and combat Loneliness.

After the positive response, all events related content was transferred to Diverse Differences Online.

In October & November 2019 an expansion of supporting more events including Black History Month, Anti-bullying Week and the Give Is A Break campaign.

During 2020 the biggest expansion on supporting events including International Women's Day, international day of happiness, world day of cultural diversity for dialogue and development along with world human rights day. During that time unique content was developed including the first versions of the project value hidden differences, value & dignity and elements of value. In addition, exclusive content was developed for the Anna Kennedy online campaign Give Us A Break.

In October 2021 Events+ was launched with the first-ever showcase specials online and the introductsion of the Events+ Showcase blog on Tumblr.

During April 2023 the Events+ fully introducted the Connection pages a collection of customised projects and blogs for supporting events focusing on focused topics, specific conditions and from a diverse background.  These webspages were renamed as "Collection" since February 2024 onwards

Since December 2023 the "Events+" feature has expanded to incluldes the existing webpages: Supporting Awareness evnts list, Awarenesss Calendar and individual pages on supporting different events. These webpages were transfered from the feature "Diverse Differences".

"Pop-up" Showcase Specials

A family of temporary online features which showcases specialised content to support multiple events within a particular month. This is schedule to appear during March, April, May, June, October and November. In addition a special pop-up feature for December into the first week of the New Year.
