Don't Underestimate
As part of supporting Mental Health Awareness Week & Mental Health Month, Plus Value Awareness presents a project for society to improve understanding on how mental health affects a person with differences.

"Don't underestimate.." is a specialised awareness project which to educate society and communities to be more aware of the issues and challenges on how life affect an adult and young person with hidden differences. Regardless of the person lives with Autism (at mild and moderate level), ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia or social anxiety their experiences must not be underestimated at any level.

The project was launched to concide World Mental Health Day back in October 2018.

The online pages of the project is divided into 7 key areas. Including Attitudes, masking, compromising dangers, other factors, respecting sense of value, time & recovery and tips & summary.

This project is designed to highlight that any approach and solutions when a person with differences face mental health is not the same as everybody else. The importance of listening and taking the person differences very seriously over their experiences aside and then make sure their sense of value must be respected.
