Many people with invisible difficulties have done many do so much reduce their stigma & changing their lifestyle. Also they attempted to connect & to relate with others better including reduce any lone obsessions & interest. Also they do make efforts to improve their sense of purpose. 

They do have intentions not be a burden on others and to Increase self responsibility and obligations

However some do need to be educated and be encouraged to make alterations. Also they to be aware of the concsuiqnuces i they do make changes to reduce their stigma. The communication tone however must not be in lecturing, threatening or any patronising tone. Give them the space to work out real solution without pressures and never communicating based if they have listening or have grasped. Instead talk in a suggestive with the approach of showing interest. This can produce more results is can be more proactive and encourage that person affected to reduce any type of stigma from their past and present and possible avoid stigma ahead in the future.
