This month is a monumental period of this special double anniversary year. Marking 20 years since the creator of plus value awareness has achieved 20 years of developing a family of awareness projects, campaigns and activities. It was originally presented as “autism challenge” in 2010 it was presented under differences from 2011 leading to the launch of plus value awareness which features the original awareness brands differences originals.
Over the past two decades, this awareness initiative has intended to challenge conventional awareness approaches and to challenge public attitudes towards differences.
Originally the awareness approach was related to autistic spectrum but after feedback of the issues expanding beyond autism, the initiative expanded to Dyslexia, ADHD, Dyspraxia and Social Anxiety. This includes to enable a person with differences to have their voice and to have their say in the manner they are communicating and not be speaking for them.
Also to enable to provide better understanding with the human aspects of differences and ultimately towards a smarter sense of value.
As part of this special year a special online feature during this double anniversary year. Including an overview of what has been developed over the two decades. The feature will include examples of new & special awareness projects during this year.
